At 12 months you will probably wonder where did your tiny little baby go. A toddler has replaced your baby. At this stage baby will most likely be walking or at least walking by holding onto someone or something. 

 

Toys that help baby explore different shapes, sounds and cause and effect play will also help baby develop their motor and thinking skills. Your child will explore all sorts of problem solving methods and will be quite proud of them when shapes fall through or a puzzle is completed. You'll see a great deal of repetition at this stage as babies try to learn and remember, that’s why these toys are ideal. Your toddler is happy to do the puzzles & shapes over and over, during this developmental stage.
